A new year's worth of data has arrived in the Financial Intelligence Tool (FIT)

About 30 days after the filing deadline for most Washington state local governments, the Office of the Washington State Auditor published new data in Financial Intelligence Tool (FIT). This annual update is the largest of the year and occurred on June 30, 2025.

Below is a summary of the data currently included in FIT. Local governments submit this data annually, and it is then published in FIT. For this reason, on-time annual report submission and accuracy are essential to the functionality of the tool, as it is used by state and local governments and the public.
