Our Internship Program
We offer paid summer and year-round internships in our offices across the state. Interns conduct audit tests and provide support for large and small audits. As interns increase their skills, they take on assignments with increasing complexity and responsibility.
We are interested in candidates who:
Are enrolled in college.
Completed their sophomore year.
Completed some accounting course work (preferred).
Have strong computer skills.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
The State Auditor's Office is a great place to start building your career. In addition to paid audit internships for current college students who have completed their sophomore year, students who expect to graduate within six months may apply for our Assistant State Auditor 1 in-training positions.
